Daphne Clark, MPA, is the Health Information Technology Practice Leader at Aledo Consulting where she helps clients with business strategies commercializing health care information technology products and services. Ms. Clark has more than 20 years of high impact consulting experience in health care, life science, finance and other global industries and has a deep understanding of emerging technologies and implementation issues facing the health care market. Before joining Aledo Consulting, she held numerous positions at WellPoint including Chief of Staff to the CEO and Staff Vice President of Corporate Strategy. During her tenure, she led the corporate strategic planning process, developed the corporate performance management processes, and directed a $60 million strategic venture capital investment program designed to identify new technologies to drive innovation into health care systems focused on quality and affordability of care. Previously, Ms. Clark provided management consulting with Ernst & Young; she successfully advised a broad range of multi-billion dollar companies, government agencies and non-profits on information technology, innovation, market position, operational improvement, strategic growth and planning. Ms. Clarkâs background in financial services, information management, government and non-profits has allowed her to develop considerable insights into emerging health care models and operations and has proven valuable to health care technology and life science companies seeking to optimize market position, streamline processes, increase efficiencies, and advance growth and funding.
Ms. Clark earned a B.A. in Economics and a Masters in Public Administration and Policy. She is a guest lecturer at Indiana University and has served as an advisory board member of the Kelley School Life Sciences Initiative, the Indiana University Emerging Technologies Center and the Indiana Future Fund, a $72 million life sciences venture capital fund.
